That's just what they will be doing today and tomorrow. .beginning with the Christmas Parade at 11:00. . .We have a front row seat. . .since it will be coming down Main Street. . .
Afterwards, you will find all kinds of activities going on. . .But, if you are like me. . .It was hard finding the schedules online. . .Also, the schedule at VisitSteGen lists the events as happening on the 8th and 9th, when it's actually the 7th and 8th. . .So. . .Here is the schedule for you. . .

12:00 p.m.• Lions Park Spectacular, FREE pictures with Santa and FREE shuttle rides every 15 minutes, Market Street. Hot chocolate, hotdogs, and chili. Kids under 12 eat FREE, when accompanied by an adult.
FREE Vernon Flieg performs traditional country, rock and Christmas tunes. Strolling French carolers throughout the Historic District.

1:00 to 1:45 p.m.• FREE Southeast Chamber Choir concert performed by SEMO State University and directed by Dr. Barbara LaMont, featuring Renaissance period pieces up to contemporary holiday selections at the Ste. Genevieve Catholic Church, 49 DuBourg Place.
FREE Southeast Missouri String Quartet concert performed by accredited directors, teachers and symphony performers at the Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 Market Street, featuring Baroque, Classical, and Romantic period Austro-German music.
FREE The Isaac Lausell Trio, modern jazz with standards in Latin music featuring award winning Dr. Isaac Lausell from SIU School of Music, Carbondale, Anthony Junca Goncalvez and Frank Kurtz at the First Presbyterian Church, 160 S. Main Street.

Christmas carols will be sung inside the church.• Grand Ole’ Opry bluegrass baritone vocalist and singer songwriter Shannon Cox will perform traditional and Country Christmas music.
